LOOK OUT!!!!!!

We have been invaded by Chicken Pox! I don't know how it happened but on Tuesday morning I found 3 little pox on Sophies bum. Luckily she has been immunized for them and she won't get too bad. Of course this has to happen when we have a wedding to go to and Laynies blessing to get ready for this week! But what is hard for me is that Laynie is too young to get immunized and has to stay far far away from her big sister so she doesn't get it. I guess chicken pox is really scary in babies. This has been really hard for Sophie because she wants to love on her baby sister. I tell Sophie that she needs to stay away from the baby so she doesn't turn into a chicken. Needless to say Laynie has been spending a lot of time in her swing so she doesn't get infected!
P.S. We have pushed back the blessing to next Sunday at 1pm

Heidi's Wedding

My cousin Heidi got married on Saturday to a great guy named Kevin. My girls were flower girls and had the cutest dresses! We had such a great time at the reception! It would not be a wedding in our family if there wasn't lost of music and dancing. Heidi looked so beautiful and I wish Heidi and Kevin lots of love and happiness!

Thank You

Thank you to all those who have given their love and support to my cousin Ben and his family. We had Kynslees funeral on Monday and things went really well. Everyone did a great job during the service and the Spirit was so strong. I am so thankful to know that families are forever and that we can be with Kynslee again someday!

Kynslee Lamb

My heart is broken right now for my cousin Ben and his wife Teea. They have just lost there six month old baby girl. She was such a joy in our lives and she is going to be greatly missed. I am at a loss for what I can do for them so I set up a donation fund in her name. This is the e-mail that I sent out to all of our family and friends.

Kynslee Jean Lamb, daughter of Ben and Teea Lamb was born on Monday, September 24 at 7:12 pm. She was 5 lbs and 10 ounces and 19 inches long. She was born with many heart problems including Hypo Plastic Left Heart Syndrome. We were unsure that she would ever take a breath so we have been blessed with her sweet spirit for the past six months. This is a miracle in of itself. After a long hard battle she returned to her Heavenly Father on April 15th.
Ben and Teea have been left with many financial burdens. If you would like to help ease those burdens donations can be made at any Washington Mutual branch. The account is under the name of Kynslee Lamb or Amanda Carol Anderson. The best way to access the account is through this account number: 4414863088. Any contribution will be greatly appreciated.
Ben and Teea would like to thank everyone for there love and support through this difficult time. Funeral plans are pending and we will let you know as soon as they are ready. If you have any questions please contact Amanda Anderson.
Thank You.

First Photo Shoot

Laynie had her very first photo shoot last week taken by my friend Abbey with AK Studio and Design. She is the best photographer! She came to my house and set up all her lights and props and did a fantastic job! Please go to her website to see the rest of the cute pictures she took of Laynie. There is a link under my friends and family. There are so many cute ones that I don't know which ones to use for my announcements!

Perspective

Yes everyone this is my husband Bodi in a box! I thought Sophie was the only one entertained by a cardboard box but I guess I was wrong. Sophie talked him into climbing in and once he got there is was hard to get out! He is such a great daddy to the girls and plays so well with them! He always helps me to put things into perspective. The other day I was frustrated with our messy house and fussy kids. He grabbed me and said "look at this... this is exactly what we imagined when we got married! Isn't this great!!!" He really helped me to see that I have been blessed with everything I have ever wanted!

Life with 2!

Life with two kids is crazy but lots of fun! Sophie is adjusting so well to being a big sister. She wants to hold Laynie everyday. She always has to give her a kiss before her nap and is so excited to see her when she wakes up! Laynie is finally starting to get into a routine at night!! Bodi and I are getting a few more hours of sleep now which makes me feel like a whole new person. I am feeling almost back to normal except I can't lift anything over 10lbs for two more weeks. When I try to lift something I am feeling it the next day. I am starting to go a little stir crazy in the house and I want to clean everything but then I run out of energy and want to go to bed at 7pm. Oh well!

Can you tell?

Can you tell me who is who? One looks just a little bit more fluffy in the cheeks than the other. When Laynie was born I thought I was having flash backs to two years ago because she looks so much like her sister. Thank goodness she is already changing into her own little person with a very content personality which is opposite than her big sister!

Intorducing Laynie Ruth

She is finally here and we are so happy! Laynie Ruth was born March 6th weighing 7lbs and 20 inches long! She is so beautiful and we love her so much! She is the spitting image of her big sister but she has two cute dimples. The delivery went great and we are all home and doing well! She is a very content little girl except for night time! Sophie is a great big sister and is adjusting well to having someone else in the house with her! We will be posting lots more pictures so stay tuned!

A day at the Zoo!

I have been feeling a little guilty about having this baby because I didn't want to hurt Sophie! I know that sounds crazy but I know she will be a little sad to loose her mommy for a while. I decided to take her to the zoo on our last weekend together before the baby. We had a blast with our friends the Browns. Sophie loved to see all the animals. Her favorite was the leopard. As you can see in the picture the leopard liked her too. I think he wanted to eat her!

Final Countdown

Here we are, exactly 1 week away from my scheduled delivery. I finally feel like I am ready to have this baby! I am so done being pregnant. I think that Bodi and Sophie are also ready to get me back! We have everything we need and now all we need to do is wait for labor to start or count down the days until next week!
We will let everyone know when she gets here and post lots of pictures!
PS. I had to put this picture up. I thought it was funny!!

We are done!!!

We have wanted to do many projects with our new house since we moved in. We have been so busy the last six months that we have finally gotten to it. It is perfect timing since we are having a baby in the next couple of weeks and we have nothing better to spend our money on. We decided that we had had enough of our white carpet and pink walls. Yes, I said pink. They both were so dirty and outdated.

Before we could get carpet we needed to paint the entire upstairs of our house. Because I am not much help with the painting Bodi was my superman and painted everything in 2 weeks! He even pulled out all the old carpet and got the house ready for the new stuff! I can't believe what a difference all of our work has made. We feel like we have a brand new house! It is finally starting to feel like it is our style. Now we (or Bodi) can relax and wait for our next project to come. This one will take a little longer that 2 weeks (more like 25 years!).

36 Weeks and Counting......

(Once again these amazing pictures were taken by Abbey at AK Studio and Design)
I can't beleive that I am 36 weeks pregnant! I never made it this far with my first pregnancey. There are some advantages at delivering at 35 weeks and being on bed rest for your 3rd trimester. I never had the joy of experiencing what it really feels like to be pregnant. I now feel the aches and pains of the last month of pregnancey. I am more than ready to have this baby girl and to start the next chapter in our lives. I will gladly put up with the last few weeks to have a healthy baby girl that can come right home from the hospital. We will keep you posted on when she comes!

Sophies Brithday

Sophie is officially a 2 year old! I can't believe that 2 years has flown by. She is no longer my little baby girl. We had a fun time last night celebrating her birthday with a princess party. We had every cheesy disney priness decoration hanging in our house and she loved every bit of it. It was more than obviouse that this was a party for a 2 year old because as we were starting she locked herself in the bathroom so she could play with her chapstick. She threw a tantrum when we finally got her out. What a way to start a party! My mom made her a big princess and little princess cake. We also had a princess sheet cake. Its a good thing we had so much cake because we had 34 people at this small family party! Good thing we have a basement with lots of room. We had a great time watching her open all her presents. She is well stocked in baby doll supplies and princess stuff! Thanks to all of our friends and family that helped to make her special on her birthday!
