Week 8...

It's a Pink Party...

We finally got to have Sophie's birthday party. This year she wanted a pink princess party. Of course I was super excited about this because I love pink! We had a pink lunch with pink sandwiches, strawberries, fruit dip and pink punch. So yummy! Here are all the princesses enjoying lunch.

We decorated princess crowns!

We set up a runway downstairs and let the girls go crazy with the dress ups.

The girls were so cute! I think they had a super fun time playing dress up.

Week 7...

Happy V Day...

Happy V day everyone! I hope you had a great day celebrating with the ones you love. We sure had a fun day at our house. The girls woke up and and found some goodies in their boxes.

Sophie had a rough day...I think it was all the candy. She crashed out on the couch before dinner. My Dad and Step Mom gave Sophie her gift. She was a little confused when she got a fly swatter(fish net) and fish food.Then they brought out her new fish!

Poor Laynie...all she gets to do is sit and watch the fish. She told me she wanted to give them a hug. I may find her playing in the bowl one of these day! ( She sat there for 20 minutes talking to the fish)

Day 6-12..

Day 6: We love Hannah, Sophie and Dayshia day!

Day 7:

Day 8: Movie Night. We watched the very romantic Fairytopia.Day 9: A romantic heart dinner. We always have a Papa Murphy's heart shaped pizza every year. The girls just love having the candles.

Birthday Fun...

Sophie has had a hard week. She has been sick with a high fever and throwing up. She woke up this morning feeling so rotten with a 104 degree fever. She really wanted to go to McDonalds for breakfast but she took one bite and got sick. The best part was that she got Laynie and I to sing to her and she got to blow out her candles. We took her to the doctor and found out that she had a kydney infection. She got some antibiotics and hopefully will start to get feeling better soon. When we got back from the doctor we found a package at the door. Uncle Buc, Aunt Tara and cousin Isaac sent her a super fun birthday package. It was just what she needed to boost her spirits today! She loved decorating her cookies Tara made her!

She finally started to feel better and wanted to go out and celebrate her birthday. We went to the cuteset cupcake shop and she got to pick out her own cupcake. She also got to wear her birthday outfit that Nana and I made for her. My Mom has gone crazy with ruffles!!!

All day she was saying that she really wanted to go to Wendy's for dinner. She got lucky because Grandma Debbie came up from Ephraim to see her.Finally she got to open her presents! She got her very own camera. Now she doesn't have to borrow mine all the time!

And then the cupcakes. They were so yummy!

Even though she was feeling so crummy it eneded up being a super fun birthday!

It happened way too fast...

I can't believe how fast 4 years have flown by. I keep asking her not to grow up too fast but she doesn't listen!

Here are some things we love about Sophie at 4:

She is growing so tall everyday. It is hard to keep up with her. She is in 5 slims and those are starting to get too short.

Says "Silly Me" whenever she makes a mistake.

Makes up songs. The latest "I don't have a chance but I do have a choice" (have no idea what it means!)

Loves to play hide and seek.

Has a boyfriend (Stockton) who she talks about non stop. Every song on the radio that has a man and woman singing she says that it is her and Stockton when they grow up and get married. This makes Bodi a little worried!

Loves to sing, dance and play dress up.

Starting to write her letters all by herself. She amazes me everyday with the new things she is learning.

She loves going to sunbeams and is a joy to have in my class!

She always wants a friend to play over and plays so well with her sister.

4th Annual...

Tonight was our 4th annual Super Bowl party. My Mom always does a big contest with tons of questions and lots of great prizes. Here is our chart for this year. Huge! We also had our February birthday party. My Mom made this cute pig cake for the girls.

Hannah turns 12, Sophie turns 4 and Dayshia turns 11 this month.

Sophie was sung to for the first time in primary today for her birthday! She was so excited!

Week 6...

Miss Piggy, I Love You...

My friend Shannon told me about the Disney Give a Day Get a Day. I thought I was going to have to build some houses with my bare hands...but I was wrong. There are so many great little service projects you can do right from home. I had to sew 6 drawstring bags per person for our free tickets. 12 bags + 5 hours = a fun day at Disneyland for FREE!
