The Big 30...

I can't believe I finally turned 30! I was having a hard time with it being that I was 31 weeks pregnant and not feeling "30, Flirty and Thriving" But my sweet family made it a super fun weekend for me.

The girls woke me up and took me out for a yummy pancake breakfast. They had cards and presents for me!
My Mom surprised me with a new serger. I was so excited and scared at the same time! She showed me how to use it so I'm not scared anymore.
Bodi  surprised me again with new posts and pans. I have been wanting some for the longest time and now I feel like a real cook!
On Friday night Bodi planned a birthday dinner for me. He invited tons of friends and family to Bucca De Pepo in SLC. I love this place! The food was amazing and it was great to be with everyone. Bodi had a whole presentation prepared with pictures and funny stories. It was great!

I think I am going to like being 30. {I keep telling myself that!}

30 weeks...

How far along? 30 weeks

Total weight gain? 14lbs I now look fully pregnant! I am glad that I don't have people wondering anymore

Stretch marks?  Still no stretch marks!

Sleep: Sleep is about the same...hard to get. It seems if I wake up to use the restroom baby thinks it is playtime and starts going nuts! Sometimes he doesn't stop for an hour.

Best moment this week:  We finally have his room ready. The crib is set up, the dresser is ready all I need to do now is decorate!

Baby Movement: He is starting to get crazy! He is now up in my ribs and super squished in there. He is very strong and takes my breath away when he gets going.

Food cravings: All I want to eat is red meat! I could eat a steak everyday.

Gender: Boy

Labor signs: The Braxton Hicks are still hourly but I can deal with those but so far no other signs. We had a little scare with the doctor thinking that  my fluid was low and I thought I was going to have to go on bed rest but everything is good!

Symptoms: Ribs are still killing me all the time. It is now all day instead of just at night.

Belly button in or out? Still in!

Getting ready for baby? The girls had fun helping Daddy paint Williams room. Then Daddy put up the wanes coating and it looks soooo good! The crib is up and I have been shopping like crazy to find things for the room. I made a big trip to Ikea and got lots of fun things! I have also been buying clothes and having fun buying boy stuff.

Looking Forward to? I am excited that some of my friends are going to be throwing me a baby shower in the next few weeks!

Laynie's Baking Party...

Laynie loves anything to do with baking. She is always wanting to be in the kitchen with me. So when we were planning her birthday party she knew exactly what she wanted! A baking party!
I found these chef hats online and made little cake stands for the cakes.

She was sooooo excited! She woke up at 6:20 this morning wanting her friends to be here.

The girls got to make their own pizza's and fruit kabobs.

Laynie saw this cupcake pinata at the store and had to have it!

The girls each got their own little cake to decorate. The frosting was crazy and I think they ate more than then put on the cakes!

It was a really fun party! After it was over she gave me a big hug and told me that this was the best day ever. Couldn't ask for anything better!

Happy Birthday Laynie!

I can't believe my little Laynie is finally 4! The past 4 years have flown by! She is such an amazing little lady. She has such a huge personality. Bodi and I are either laughing at her or mad at her. They really is nothing in between!  She has so much energy and never stops. We love her so much!

She woke up at 6:15am on her birthday. She was super excited! (yes she is wearing a wolf hat...she has worn it everywhere the past few days) The first thing she wanted to do was open her presents.
She had her donut with candles.
I made her this skirt for her birthday outfit.
She was thrilled to get her birthday crown at preschool!
She asked for a strawberry cake with strawberry frosting. It was so yummy!

That night we met Grandma Debbie for dinner and went to the movie Lorax. It was a perfect day!
Later in the week Laynie got to have a date with her Nana. They went to lunch at IHOP and then on a shopping spree. Of course Nana let her get another stuffed animal. This one barks, walks, eats and even poos! Super!
