It's Ladies Night...

Bodi was so great and gave me a girls trip for my birthday. My friend Abbey and I went down to Vegas for the weekend. It was sooo relaxing to be able to sleep in, lay by the pool and go out without the children. Our hotel was amazing and the pool was one of the best I have ever been to.
I felt like we were in Hawaii because the pool was so great!

We went to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner. It was my first time going and I loved it!
Can't wait for the next girls trip!

If you like cupcakes raise your hand...

We had a super fun field trip to the cupcake shop today for preschool. My girls were so excited to go. The first thing Laynie said to me this morning was "going to cupcake shop?" I think they have a special place in their hearts for cupcakes just like me! The kids got to learn how to use the frosting.
Then got to add a little sprinkles.

Babies, Babies all around...

This week was a crazy one. My Sister Rachel was being induced on Thursday morning. I was super excited and pacing the floor waiting for news. I was about to head down to the hospital when I found out that my SIL Annie delivered her twins that same day at the same hospital! I Couldn't get down there fast enough.
The twins Hadlee and Mylee were born 4 weeks early and are still in the NICU. I couldn't hold them but I got to see them through the window. Hopefully they can come home soon so I can snuggle them! Bowen decided not to come until 12:15 Friday morning. Rachel and Chad were so sweet and let me be there when he was born. It was so fun to be there and see him so brand new.
I just love these babies and I am so excited to be their Aunt!

Oh Sophie...

I just feel so bad for my little Sophie because I know exactly what it is like to hurt yourself on a daily basis. The poor girl takes after me that way. Yesterday she took a spill backwards out of the car and landed on the back of her head on the concrete in the garage. We thought she was going to be fine because she had no bump or any other "signs". 2 weeks ago she had a huge bump on her head with barley even a tear. We went to dinner with my Cousin Amy and her family. When we got there she started crying and acting strange. Then she started dry heaving and trying to go to sleep. After a quick call to the doctor we were off to the ER. After puking in the waiting room they told us that she has a concussion. Poor thing had to get woken up every 2 hours last night and didn't like it. Today she is back to herself with just a little headache.
All I can say is Oh Sophie!
