Kick off to New Beginnings!

New Beginnings is one of my favorite things to plan for the young women. This year we had a Kick Off to New Beginnings. I found this idea on Pinterest and was so excited to do it for our girls. The whole theme was based on football. We involved all of the new and current young women. All the current ladies wore football jerseys and the "new recruits" wore practice jerseys. The bishopric were the referees and the leaders were the coaching staff.
Here are our invitations.

We made play books for the girls filled with information about young womens.
My favorite was the concessions stand. We had yummy popcorn, nachos, red vines and home made root beer.

Our sponsors for the evening were: The Pioneers, CTR, The Temple, Arise & Shine Forth and the Book Of Mormon. Our Beehives had a blast making these signs.

We broke down the night into Pre Game, Game and Post Game.
We had all the current girls run through a poster at the beginning to introduce themselves.

We had a fun game for the girls. We had 4 events set up for them: Catching, Hiking, Throwing and Kicking.
We had 8 new recruits. We split them up into 2 teams with the older girls. We had questions for each girl to answer before they could complete their task. Each recruit had to answer a question then complete the task.

At the end we gave the new recruits Championship rings. They loved them!
It was a really great night! I am so excited for our new recruits to come in soon!

Day 13: We Love Our Friends Day!

The girls made their valentines for their friends. Sophie got a hand cramp because she had to write her name so many times!

Day 14: Happy Valentines Day!

We started the day by having an all pink breakfast. Pink pancakes, pink milk, pink yogurt and strawberries.
The girls also got their valentines from us. They got a box of chocolates and a new book.

The girls helped me to set up the table for our romantic family dinner. It has been our tradition for the past 5 years.
We made our heart shaped pizzas!
 Cheers! So romantic!

25 Weeks...

How far along? 25 weeks

Total weight gain? 9lbs! I am finally starting to show...but I still have people just think I am getting chubby. Not liking that very much!

Stretch marks?  Still no stretch marks!

Sleep: Sleep is getting harder. I am so tired but so uncomfortable at the same time. I get cramps in my feet at night and they hurt!

Best moment this week: The girls wanting to kiss baby William goodnight every night. They love to rub my belly and give him kisses.

Baby Movement: This kid is a gymnast already. Sometimes I think he is doing summer salts in my belly. There are times when he moves that it takes my breath away.

Food cravings: I am over my taco bell obsession...thank goodness! Now all I want is salty chips and dip. I don't know whats worse!

Gender: Boy

Labor signs: If I over do it I have braxton hicks contractions. I never had them with the girls. They are the pits!

Symptoms:I feel like my ribs are going to crack every night. Baby likes to use them like drums!

Belly button in or out? In...for now!

Getting ready for baby? I have been busy getting Williams room ready. I figured out what I want to do and have been busy getting every thing together. We moved the girls together in Sophie's room so I could start. I ordered this fabric online for the bumper and bed skirt.
I painted these curtains and I love them! They were so easy and cheap.
 I finished the bumper!

Looking forward to: Finishing William's room! We need to paint and I need to finish the bed skirt.

14 Days of Love 1-5...

One of my favorite traditions is to do the 14 Days of Love for my family. I plan it out about a month before and get so excited!

Day 1: We love to color...lets make home made crayons!

The girls were so excited for this. It was our first time trying out home made crayons.
They didn't leave the oven for the entire 15 minutes the crayons were melting.
They have been coloring every day since.

Day 2: Lets Paint our Nails!

We went up to Nana's house and painted our nails. We tried out crackle nails. They looked great!

Day 3: Family Date Night

We went out to the Muppet Movie for our date night. We went with our friends the Wright family. The movie was so cute and funny. Now all we sing around here is Manamana!

Day 4: We love our Family Day!

We went down to Ephraim to visit with the Anderson Family. Baby Braden was being blessed this weekend. We were thrilled that Heather and Maddie were there as well. We love to play with the cousins!

Day 5: We Love Football!

We had our annual Super Bowl party complete with our games, prizes and of course tons of food!

I made these cute football whoopee pies with the girls!
