Wednesday: Spring is here and it is now warm enough to start going outside every night. We made our first trip to the park tonight since last fall. I have a feeling we will be living at the park all summer!
Thursday: We had an emergency today! Laynie swallowed some Oxiclean today and it made her sick She started screaming and foaming at the mouth. Then she started foaming at the mouth. I finally called poison control because she looked awful. It turned out to be ok. I gave her plenty of fluids and she was fine in about an hour. Scary!!
Friday- Daddy was home so we spent the whole day outside working in the yard. Sophie spent the day doing one of her favorite activities....painting the driveway with water.
Saturday: We are finally going to put in a garden this year. Bodi spent the day scrapping out the land behind our fence. We are going to plant so many yummy veggies with our neighbors. I am so excited!

Harmful if swallowed.....

What a morning we had today. My little Laynie gets into everything and today she really did. I had been treating some stains in my kitchen and must have dropped a clump of OxiClean under the cabinets. A few hours latter Laynie started screaming and I noticed that she was foaming at the mouth. Then she started puking. He whole body was convulsing and I had no idea why. I finally figured out that she had the OxiClean in her mouth. I ran to the laundry room to look at the box and it says : Harmful if swallowed. I was in a panic. I grabbed my phone book to look for the poison control number...couldn't find it. She pukes again. I call my Mom to see if she had the number...no. She pukes again. I grab my computer and get the number...finally. Poison control tells me that it is dangerous for her to throw it up and to get her to stop.....huh? How do I get her to stop??? Well she stopped. There is hydrogen peroxide in it and it could burn her throat. They told me to give her plenty of fluids and to watch her for an hour. She ended up being fine but it was really scary for me! Just a little advice...keep the oxiclean away from the kids!

PS the number to poison control is 1-800-222-1222

Thursday: Laynie got a teddy bear from Grandpa Romney and now she had to sleep with it! So Cute!
Friday: Another trip to the Living Planet Aquarium with Emily and the kids. We bought a season pass!
Saturday: We had a little accident with the oven. We tried to clean it and the outer glass shattered!
Sunday: I took the girls for their first ride on my new bike and trailer I got for my Birthday!

A little explanation: There are lost of people who are a little confused as to how our glass broke on the oven. There is an outer layer and inner layer of glass. There was some yucky food that got in between and I had been wanting to clean it for a long time. Bodi, being the Mr. fix-it that he is said it would be no big deal to take the outer layer off. Well we were wrong. He unscrewed 1 side and it was fine. He loosened the other and crash. That is how the glass broke!
