2010 Holiday Preview

This is the Place...

Rachel and I took the kids on an adventure to This is the Place Heritage Park. I had never been there before and thought it was so much fun. The kids got to dress up in their costumes and go trick or treating at all the houses. We also got to visit the baby animals.

Bowen didn't know what to think!

Don't you just love Sophie's Strawberry Shortcake costume. It is a hand-me-down from my Sister Hannah. It just makes me laugh!

Laynie finally got to take a pony ride.

We had story time with the cutest witch! The kids were so good and listened to 3 stories. Next was little craft time...

The girls loved taking to train around the park.

You can tell by their faces that they were done for the day. So much fun!

Anderson Pumpkin Patch...

We have really enjoyed having our garden this summer. We got a BIG surprise when we found pumpkins growing. We didn't plant any this year and we think they were left over seeds from last summer than never made it. We are lucky that we have lots of room in the back because they took over the field. I counted 18 big pumpkins.

For FHE we went on an adventure to the Anderson Pumpkin Patch. The girls were sooo excited to pick them after watching them grow all summer.

No pumpkin picking experience is complete without a hay/wheelbarrow ride!

I just love them!
