I saw a really fun idea in the Family Fun magazine. I have an activity planned for the 24 days before Christmas. Every afternoon Sophie gets to find a new slip of paper in the advent calendar. So far it has been a lot of fun!

Day 1: Write our Letters to Santa

She had to put it in the mail right away!

The next day Sophie was so excited to get a letter back from Santa. She couldn't believe that he wrote her back so fast!

Day 2: Read a Christmas Story. We read Polar Express
Day 3: Make snowflakes. The girls love to color and to use scissors. Making snowflakes out of coffee filters is perfect for that.
